Stena Sessan invests in Annotell

Stena Sessan has invested in the Swedish annotation and software provider Annotell during September 2020. Following the investment, Stena Sessan has become one of the company’s largest shareholders. The investment is part of Stena Sessan’s strategy of investing in a diversified portfolio of companies that have the potential to develop and grow for generations to come.

Gothenburg-based Annotell was founded in 2018 with the aim of providing a world-leading vehicle safety software platform for advanced driver-assistance system and autonomous vehicle development. Through its cloud-based platform Annotell provides OEMs and sensor producers with high quality training data as well as annotation and validation services for perception systems in next generation driver assistance systems and autonomous vehicles. Today, the company has long-term partnerships with clients such as Zenseact, Volvo Group and Magna.
