Stena Sessan invests in Lassie

Stena Sessan invested in the Swedish insurance intermediary Lassie in January 2026. In connection with the investment, Stena Sessan becomes one of the company’s larger institutional shareholders. The investment is part of Stena Sessan’s strategy of investing in a diversified portfolio of companies that have the potential to develop and grow for generations to come.

Lassie offers pet health insurance and helps pet owners prevent injuries and illness through the Lassie app, where customers gain access to interactive guides, courses, expert advice, quizzes, and smart tools. Lassie leverages data and technology to price risk, enhance the customer experience, and encourage healthier behaviors among pet owners.

Founded in Stockholm, Lassie now insures approximately 250,000 pets across Sweden, Germany, and France.
